I recently enjoyed a family vacation at Gorge Walk, nestled just a stroll away from the charming centre of Beechworth. As an environmental scientist passionate about sustainable travel, I was pleased to find this delightful B&B balanced comfort and eco-friendliness. The spacious guest lounge, complete with tea-making facilities, became our cozy spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh fruit chia puddings and freshly squeezed orange juice, which added a refreshing touch to our mornings. The garden, dotted with intriguing artworks, was also a fun discovery for my kids! During our stay, we took the time to visit Beechworth Golf Course. It provided a fantastic opportunity for some friendly family competition, and my husband particularly enjoyed Gapsted Wines nearby for a quick tasting session. Our host's warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely welcomed. With clean and charming rooms, Gorge Walk is an ideal spot for families, especially those looking to explore nature while enjoying a homely atmosphere. We had a delightful experience and look forward to returning.
